Love dystopian books? Here's one you won't want to miss.

The Threat Below
by Jason Latshaw

Here's a new YA Dystopian book that you don't want to miss. It's called The Threat Below, and it's the debut novel from writer Jason Latshaw (www.himynameisjason.com).

Kirkus Review declares it’s "a promising debut novel that could find success even outside the YA genre," and I have to agree. Regardless of age or gender, there’s a ton to love here.

The story starts with an intriguing setup – 300 years ago, mankind was wiped out by something terrifying and only around 100 survivors remain, scraping out a living on the top of a mountain. Now their water supply is being poisoned, and a group of them has to, for the first time in centuries, descend and confront the lethal monsters again.

The Threat Below, the first book in what promises to be a four part series, features a bevy of fully-formed characters, led by 17 year old Icelyn Brathius, who is one of the most engaging heroines I’ve read in a while. She’s smart, funny, stubborn, and realistic.

There are a lot of satisfying reveals throughout, and loads of mysteries which keeps you reading well into the night. The book has already gathered a large amount of 4 and 5 star reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, and I don’t wonder why.

Stay tuned for more with Jason Latshaw very soon!
