Why is meditation so powerful?
TAPPING INTO NEW FORMS OF CONNECTIONby M.J.Silva
Have you ever heard that we only use 10% of our brain?
Fortunatelly the most recent studies in neuroscience are here to show how far beyond those 10% we can actually use it, through practices like meditation. Meditation can be a portal to multiple positive shifts and occurences. And it's not woo-woo. Science is here to prove it.
Meditation is a practice that can change - and even save - lives.
With a daily practice of meditation you can tap into various states of consciousness.
A meditation practice enhances the natural psychological habilities that we are all born with: it brings clarity, focus, awareness, healing, new perspectives, expansion of the mind. Meditation also helps connect with various realities, enhance various forms of connection, visualize goals that you want to materialize and make happen in your tridimensional life. And it's even powerful in self healing.
The advances in neuroscience show how potent meditation can be in health improvement. Through meditaton, you can heal your body, overcome anxiety and depression, and let go of addictions such as smoking, substance abuse and drinking.
At a deeper level, meditation helps you become aware of how connected we all are.
If you still reject meditation or think that you can't meditate, know that you don't have to close your eyes, clear your mind or not think at all to meditate. That is hardly possible. Even when we're focused solely on our breathing, our mind fires thoughts, feelings and images.
In other words, meditation is and can be active. Meaning that you can allow thoughts, ideas, images flow, without having to clear or empty your mind. Mediation is powerful for goal setting in every sphere of your life. It's also a powerful tool to tap into your intuition and understand the steps that you need to take to materialize the goals that you want to accomplish.
As someone who's been practicing and studying meditation for over 30 years, I have hacked multiple myths about meditation. One of the myths is that you have to sit or lie down still. Or that you have to be quiet or in a quiet environment. Not true. You don't. You can take walking meditations, you can wash the dishes and practice meditation. You can be working or playing with your kids and still be connected through a meditative state.
There's no ending to the multiple possibilities.
When you start practicing meditation daily, it becomes a lifestyle. It's so powerful, that you understanding - and feel - all the benefits it brings to your life. Your body starts to shift. Your mind starts to change. Your awareness expands. You start taking inspired action towards a goal. Your brain starts to reprogram. You go in and out of your mediative state organic and naturally.
And understand that we are - and always have been - connected to one another.
